A photograph is just not an endless digital file. It is a once in a life time moment.
commitment
Every print carries an edition number — 1/1, 1/5, & 1/25. Personally numbered with a certificate of authenticity that ships with each piece. When the final print in an edition is claimed, the image is retired from print permanently. No exceptions.
Legacy
Legacy means something when it cannot be manufactured. Our largest works are issued as 1/1 originals or in micro-editions of 1/25. There is, by design, no version of our legacy photography that will be reprinted more than twenty five times in the same size.

The Eighth Square Studio fine art collection currently spans ten national parks and locations across four continents. When you purchase a numbered print, you are owning a specific moment in a specific place, documented by people who believe that going somewhere with intention is itself worth preserving.
A few things people ask, about the collection.
Are edition numbers assigned at purchase or pre-assigned?
Edition numbers are assigned at the time of purchase in the order they are claimed. The first buyer receives 1/25, the second receives 2/25, and so on. Once an edition closes, the image is permanently retired at that size. There are no exceptions and no reprints.
Can I commission a print of my own session photography?
Session photography and the fine art collection are separate products. Prints from your personal session are ordered through your private client gallery and are not part of the numbered fine art collection. The collection features exclusively national parks and world travel imagery.
What is included with each print?
Every print includes a signed certificate of authenticity with the edition number, image title, location, capture date, and signature. All pieces ship with installation hardware.
Do the greeting cards come in specific park editions or mixed sets?
Both. Individual cards are $10 and available by image. Three-card sets are $20. Available curated or as a mixed collection across the national park series and world travel imagery.
How does organizational leasing work?
We lease numbered limited edition prints to organizations on annual terms. The edition number is held exclusively for you during the lease period. At the end of the term you may purchase the edition at a preferred rate, rotate to a new image, or close the lease. Installation is included in Seattle. Contact us directly to discuss your space.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. For Fine Art Legacy Photography, a 50% payment is due at the time of ordering, with the remaining balance due at installation or delivery. We understand that this investment deserves thoughtful planning, and we’re happy to discuss available options before any commitment is made.
